The NEWMOA states recognize that innovative pollution prevention (P2) technology can improve the environmental performance of companies, often while saving money and resources. However, credible information about innovative technologies is not often readily available. NEWMOA manages a P2 Technology Workgroup made up of staff from each of the Northeast states. The Workgroup's purpose is to focus on innovative technologies that are of interest to several states and develop useful information that advances technology adoption.
